K-12 Vocal Music & Choir Teacher to bring the joy of music to our students for the start of the 2025-26 school year! In this role, you will create engaging and enriching music experiences for students across all grade levels while fostering a love for singing, performance, and musical expression. You will also collaborate with our drama, play, and musical teams to bring productions to life, providing students with incredible performance opportunities.

Qualifications:Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate in Music Education (JX or JQ endorsement for K-12).
Strong communication, technology, and organizational skills.
Experience in classroom instruction and student engagement.
Ability to integrate technology into music education.
What You’ll Do:Teach vocal music and choir for grades K-12, using Suttons Bay’s curriculum.
Create an engaging and inclusive classroom that fosters a love of music.
Use innovative teaching strategies and assessments to guide student growth.
Collaborate with the drama/musical team to direct student performances.
Encourage students to explore their musical talents through performances and competitions.
Stay current with best practices in music education and professional development.
Maintain accurate records and use data to inform instruction.
Work closely with students, staff, and families to create a positive learning environment.
